Another day, another Republican comes on Fox to admit there is no evidence that neither Joe Biden nor Hunter Biden did anything wrong

Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo continues to tilt at Biden corruption windmills. On Tuesday, she had Republican Lisa McClain of Michigan on her show to dish the dirt on the Biden crime family! McClain is all-in on trying to prove President Joe Biden is corrupt—or at least create the appearance that he is corrupt. The big problem the right-wing-o-sphere continues to have is that not only do they lack a smoking-gun piece of evidence, they lack smoke entirely.

Bartiromo did what she does best: Create some bullshit before being informed there was no evidence to back up her bullshit, and then asking a direct question about evidence. In this case, that question was: “Have you been able to identify any actual policy changes that Joe Biden made as a result of getting money from China?”

McClain’s response? “The short answer is no.”

The be accurate, the long answer is also no. Bartiromo, a proven misinformation machine, has so little to go on these days it seems that the entirety of the project is to have some conservative “investigator” on, spout conspiracy theories, and then be told there is no evidence to support any of those theories.

MEANWHILE — HUNTER BIDEN AGREES TO TESTIFTY BEFORE CONGRESS IF HIS TESTIMONY IS PUBLIC – – – REPUBLICANS REFUSE

An interesting development in the Hunter Biden story today. As you may be aware the House Oversight Committee, desperately trying to find something impeach Joe Biden over, has subpoenaed his son Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden has responded that he will gladly, VOLUNTARILY testify IF such testimony is public.

Hunter’s attorneys sent a letter to Committee Chairman James Comer stating in part:

“We have seen you use closed-door sessions to manipulate, even distort the facts and misinform the public. We therefore propose opening the door. If, as you claim, your efforts are important and involve issues that Americans should know about, then let the light shine on these proceedings.”

Alas, the Republicans refuse. Seems their effort to shine a light on Biden’s alleged corruption does not include transparency for their own processes. In denying the request Comer stated:

“our lawfully issued subpoena to Hunter Biden requires him to appear for a deposition on December 13.”

The lawfulness of said subpoena is disputable. However, I suggest Hunter appear. So long as he appears he cannot be found in contempt. They cannot compel him to provide substantive answers. I suggest that he then sit there, and in response to every question, answers something like this:

“I respectfully invoke my 5th Amendment right and decline to answer in this forum. However, if you open the doors, let the public and media in, then I will waive my 5th Amendment right and answer your questions substantively.”
