Our Constitutional Republic faces a clear and present danger more deadly than that of the Civil War. The danger is the Republican Party, a "political party" that has sold out to white supremacy, autocracy, misogyny, and hatred of everything our Nation stands for. Republicans dismiss any sense of a common American narrative. The "Republican Party" is an outlier in our history – ideologically extreme; contemptuous of social and economic policies that have sustained us for a century; unwilling to compromise; dismissive of evidence, fact, and science; dismissive of the legitimacy of any viewpoint except their own. America needs to face the simple, frightening fact that the Republican Party is a clear and present danger to our Constitutional Republic.

Something about to happen at the DC federal courthouses

Meanwhile: During a discussion on MSNBC on the uptick of frantic Donald Trump posts on his Truth Social platform, political commentator Molly Jong-Fast pointed out that the former president is in dire need of cash due to the growing avalanche of legal problems he’s facing since leaving office.

Speaking with MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin, Jong-Fast pointed out that the former president’s social media outbursts also ramp up when he is “scared” and that his legal fees are skyrocketing.

NOTE: All day Sunday, July 23, and into the late night hours, Trump has been firing off comments on his useless Truth Social account, attacking everyone from J. Edgar Hoover to the FBI janitorial staff. The man is frantic.
