I will add more later but for now: I am a retired Army officer and Vietnam combat veteran. Born in Mississippi in the 1940’s, reared in the Southern Baptist church and fed on the “Lost Cause” myth, I left Mississippi at 18 and never looked back. I now live in rural Virginia in a community of Trump supporters, none of whom has the brains God gave a goose.

Someone needs to remind Trump and the people around him — such as Congressional Republicans — that history will not be kind to Trump. Anyone who supported him is destined to be forgotten or maligned by history. Serves them right.
